PET POLICY

ONLY service animals covered by the ADA are welcome at the farm. All other animals, including pets and emotional support animals are prohibited.

Where are you located?

  • We're located in beautiful King George County, Virginia just outside historic Fredericksburg and a few miles from I-95. We are 1.5 hours from Washington D.C., 1 hour from Richmond and 2 hours from Charlottesville.

Which day can I come?

  • Purchasing tickets guarantees you a time slot and signs you up for our schedule announcement. The Tulip Festival will be open over the course of two weekends, and tickets will sell out. 
  • Once we have the best idea of how our tulips are developing, we will open up dates for you to choose from. You will receive an email to pick your desired time slot late March.


Are kids allowed?

  • Of course! We Welcome all kids age 99 and under plus kids 3 and under are free 


What happens if it rains on the day I am scheduled to come?

  • We are open rain or shine! Picking tulips in the rain can be an entirely different kind of fun! 


Do you have parking available?

  • Yes! Parking is available and included for free with your ticket. Our parking is approximately 1 mile from the Tulip Festival itself and shuttles will be used by all attendees. 


Will you have bathrooms available?

  • Yes, we will have portable, accessible bathrooms available at our entrance.


Do you allow for refunds?

  • Unfortunately no. We have a limited number of tickets available, and once they are sold they are gone. As such, no refunds are allowed.


 Is the Tulip Festival wheelchair accessible and accessible for guests with disabilities?

  • We recognize the importance of ensuring our facilities comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines so that all of our guests can safely enjoy our property.  We have gone through great lengths to maintain the grounds and offer assistance services to our guests. Please note there are areas of grass, dirt and gravel which may become difficult to navigate during wet weather. 
  • Our shuttle service includes the option of a handicap school bus to make transportation possible from the offside parking lot to the Tulip Festival grounds.
